Hilltop Lodge - Aspen -Queen Cabin

The pictures were probably from pre pandemic times. The bathroom floor was sagging, toilet seat not properly attached and the shower had mold. No space in the closet due to water heater. The dresser only had 2 available drawers since the other s were broken. The carpet was disgusting. The bed had a plastic covered foam mattress. We arrived late therefore had to sleep there. We left the following morning. We didn't contact the host since nothing was going to those issues. We have stayed in rustic hotels but this was beyond that!! It needs to be torn down.

When we first arrived, the refrigerator freezer section was extremely unusable until we thawed it out. The bathroom toilet seat had soil on it. The entranceway needs fixing. The location itself was fine. The cabin was what we expected from what we saw online in terms of amenities. We did get prompt resolution when we needed towels to thaw the freezer.

Door threshold was broken. Fridge needed defrosting so water was leaking and running across the room and under the bed. Bathroom was old but cleaned as good as could be. The toilet seemed to be a little loose. Bathroom linoleum was bumped up.Shower water was very good. Bed was good because extra pad had been put on it. There was no WiFi in the room and wouldn’t connect outside either. Concerned that mold could grow in the carpet with the fridge leaking onto it. The AC worked, was pretty noisy.

Great place for us to stay while exploring Voyaguers National Park!

Property w a s just what we were looking for after a long day of road tripping... and somehow the weather was in the 80s...
